Ushuaia (Argentina, 18 Février - 8 Mars)

On l'a fait! nous avons atteind le bout du mode!!!!! Ushuaia, la ville la plus austral au monde.

We made it!!! We´re at the end of the world!!! Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world.

Voyage dans le detroit de Magellan / Trip on the Magellan strait (Chile, 11 Février - 16 Février 2010)

Nous avons passe 6 jours sur le bateau Cabo Tamar I.

Depuis la Bahia Mansa au sud de Punta Arenas, nous avons descendu Canal de Magellan le long de la cote en passant devant le "Bout du continent", puis nous l'avons traverse pour rejoindre le Canal Cascadas. Notre navigation nous a conduite jusqu'au fond du Seno Almirantazgo puis nous sommes remontes en sens inverse en explorant chaque baie ( suivre les pointilles noirs sur la carte). Nous avons croise plusieurs animaux sur notre route: Une baleine a Bosse ( inhabituel en ce lieu), des Manchots Gorfou, des manchots de Magellan, des Leopards de mer, des Elephants de mer, des Cormorans, des Albatros, des Dauphins chiliens, un renard Colorado et un Condor. Nous avons egalement fait deux sorties en Kayak face aux glaciers de la Cordillera Darwin le tout avec des conditions climatiques exceptionnelles, Soleil radieux !

From Bahia Mansa, just south of Punto Arenas, we pass the end of the continent, across the strait of Magellan and went via the Canal cascadas until the end of the fjord Seno Almirantazgo and returned the same way exploring every bay on the way (follow the black lines on the map). We kayaked in front of impressing glaciers of the Cordillera Darwin and saw many beautiful animals:A Humpback whale (usually not to be seen in these waters) Macaroni Penguins, Sea-leopards, Sea-Elephants, Cormorans, Albatros, Magellan Penguins, Chilean Dolphins, a Colorado Fox and a Condor.

L'unique bateau que nous avons croise pendant ces 6 jours. Bateau de pecheurs avec lequel nous avons troque un paquet de "Mate" contre quelques poissons frais pour le dinner.

This is the only boat we saw during 6 days. A fishermans boat with who we traded some ¨mate¨
against fresh fish.

Nous avons approche une colonie d'elephants de mer d'une dizaine d'individus installes sur une petite ile.

We visited a colony of 10 Sea-elephants that lived on a little island.
