Manaus

The center of the brasilien Amazonas basin. Internet and telephone often brake down here and the goverment doesn`t seem to care. We have been told Manaus got forgotten by the rest of the country since they don`t produce latex anymore. Our new host is Pascal, a Swiss from Basel who has a little space for us on his kitchen floor. The most impressing was the parque de 10 novembre.
